The Space Needle

So I actually took these pictures a few months while in Seattle. I decided to take a break from school tonight and mess around with some pictures and thought these were interesting. This second one I was turning to black and white but missed the ring around the top, and I thought it looked kinda cool like that so I just left it.

Basking in the Sun

 

I took this picture a few weeks ago at a local lake while fishing. These guys were just enjoying the sun like all the people there. I didn’t have my Nikon with me so I took this with my Cannon PowerShot. Still a good picture! It took a while to get this picture because anytime I would get close enough to get it they would dive in the water. luckily they really like this log so they kept coming back!

Not a Cloud in the Sky

OK this will be a quick post. I have not even touched this photo with photoshop. To be honest, I am sitting in my back yard right now and can barely even see my computer screen it is so bright, so I cant tell if this picture even turned out. But I just noticed how deep blue the sky is and wanted to show it to everyone.  It has been a while since I have seen a day so nice. This has not been the most exciting day, but definitely a relaxing day laying in the sun, studying and listening to every Ian McFeron (LOOK HIM UP!) CD I own. I am sure I will regret it tomorrow (considering the sun burn I am likely to have), but oh well!

Flying High

I was actually planning on posting this last night, but after seeing the moon I decided to post that instead. I believe this is an Osprey, but I am terrible at identifying birds so I could be wrong.

Finals are coming up, so I probably wont have any posts for a while. Hope finals go well for those of you who have them!

Monster Moon!

Apparently tonight the moon is closer to us than usual. I got an email from my Grandpa saying to check it out, so I grabbed the tripod and my camera and took off. I have never been able to capture a real good picture of the moon, but I think this turned out pretty good. A while back I was challenged to try some night photography, well here you go! Once I am back home for the summer I plan on going up to Seattle to get some pictures of the city at night as well.
